Steve Moncrieff: Planning Director
Steve likes…
ipod, barbecue, holidays in the South of France, spicy food, creme caramel, sticky toffee pudding, red wine, oysters, cold beers and gin & tonic.
With an avowed love of “getting into the heads of others”, it would be
no surprise to learn that Steve’s career has taken him to some dim and distant corners, including Buxton and that London – the latter of which must have been particularly painful for someone with a deep and abiding love of Yorkshire.
Able to watch almost any sport with genuine enthusiasm, he also has an enforced love of anything equestrian (wife and daughters passion) and an eclectic taste in music.
Steve once had to dress in a full size FRijj costume and entertain visitors to the Nantwich International Cheese Show. The most stupid thing he ever did was breaking an arm while surfing on a friend’s car roof, then telling A&E that he had fallen off a curb.
Steve can also fly. A plane that is.
Steve hates…
Traffic, corked bottles of wine, politicians, security guards (jobs-worths), meaningless chat shows on radios.
